   Kindergarten Announcements

ELA

Kindergarteners practiced fluency by performing Reader’s Theater this week.  Everyone had an opportunity to read in front of the class and add their own page to the book.  Each student did an amazing job rewriting and reading their own page.   I also had my own fun reading my favorite books aloud to the class.  We enjoyed One Morning in Maine, Frog and Toad, Bedtime for Francis and many others that bring me joy.  I hope it created some joy for them too.

Math

We had fun playing esti-mysteries this week.  They became really good at using clues to figure out how many items are shown in the containers.
