   Kindergarten Announcements

Happy Spring Break Everyone! Save travels to all who are leaving St Joe.

ELA

We read a big book called Who’s In the Shed and made predictions about what would happen next.  We also worked with the letter Ww and our spelling words are: bed, pat, wet, win, wig, wed

Math

We started a new unit about counting larger groups of objects.  We are working with those tricky teen numbers and creating ways to count in an organized way.

Writing

We started to write about information we know a lot about.

Social Studies

none

Science

Wild Weather:  This week our class learned to be Weather Watchers. That means we are paying  attention to the sky and the clouds. We are noticing the temperature and the wind. We are watching for rain or snow. We drew a picture of the weather to record what it was like.

P2: Fairness

Fairness helps people to become trustworthy friends, responsible citizens, and generally moral people. We talked about what fairness means, how people show fairness, and why it’s important.
